Damian's visibly relaxing. "No? I mean - he implied if I went down and visited R's friends - the guys working with a barricade, he'd arrest me or something." The "something" is what he's worried about.

"I was actually hoping to find Grantaire. Or your cafe. Just -" Damian trails off. "Someone kicked in my door. James helped get it back - uh - closing and all that, but -" He gestures shakily. "Anywhere else right now sounds amazing." He frowns. "I think Officer Javert was going to try to do something. And didn't want me to warn them."

Not having the phone isn't helping. It's scary to notice how much he's been depending on it for talking to people or something to pass the time or anything.
