Damian, to be honest, doesn't look like that much. If you said "ex cop on the poor end of a company station who was arrested," you'd expect probably someone taller, and probably a lot less stuttery and quiet. It's surprising it took this long for people to narrow down that he was Damian Montechristeu from Lorena Station. The video was blurry and badly lit, but there was a clear enough shot of him before Hector started interrogating him on camera, and the focus stayed on him plenty long enough.

The riots even got near or even to his apartment building, since he was that near the bank. He's right now leaning on the wall to type a message to his friends once he got his phone back, and the officer is - being pretty patient about it. Also probably reading it over his shoulder, but -
